Ortho-Express is a service using braces done primarily for adults. The goal is to give you, the patient, a smile you can be proud of in a reasonable amount of time. What we have found is that only a small percentage of insurance plans that your employer has chosen will give any sort of orthodontic coverage for an adult. We do try to maximize your insurance by using several codes, some that are very common “general dental” procedures and others that are orthodontic related, but we can provide NO GUARANTEE that any benefit will be provided. As it is explained in the office, the agreement we have with financial arrangements is between the patient and the office. Any insurance monies that would be provided would go directly to the patient. It is much easier to think that a long lost uncle gave you money towards your dream smile than having the expectation of insurance providing anything.
